Shipping Modes
  • FOB
The seller delivers the goods to the port and loads them onto the vessel. After loading, the buyer assumes all freight, insurance and risks.
  • CIF
The seller covers freight and marine insurance to the destination port. Risk transfers to the buyer once the goods are on board (the seller assists with insurance claims if needed).
  • CFR
The seller pays freight to the destination port, but insurance is the buyer's responsibility. Risk passes to the buyer upon shipment (the buyer handles insurance claims for any damage in transit).
  • DDU
The seller delivers the goods to the buyer’s specified location (door-to-door). The buyer pays import duties and taxes, while the seller handles customs clearance (without covering duty costs).
  • DDP
The seller covers all costs and delivers the goods directly to the buyer’s specified location. The buyer only needs to receive the goods.
  • EXW
The buyer collects the goods from the seller's factory and handles all subsequent tasks. The seller is not responsible for shipping.
  • DAP
The seller delivers the goods to the specified location (e.g., the buyer's factory gate), but the buyer handles customs clearance and taxes.
